Migrate a Laravel site from GoDaddy to Hostinger — cleanly.
BananaPixels needed their existing Laravel-backed PHP frontend website moved from GoDaddy to Hostinger. Laravel migrations are more complex than WordPress — they require proper environment configuration, dependency management, and careful DNS handling to avoid any downtime or data loss.
What Was Done
Server migration, DNS, environment, and testing.
Server Migration
Full Laravel application migrated — files, database, environment variables, and dependencies all transferred cleanly.
DNS Configuration
Domain DNS records updated and propagated correctly — ensuring no service interruption during the transition.
Environment Setup
PHP version, extensions, and server configuration set up correctly for the Laravel application on Hostinger.
Post-Migration Testing
Full functional testing post-migration — forms, routes, database connections, and all application features verified.
AMC — Ongoing
Annual Maintenance Contract for continued uptime and security.
After the migration, we took on an Annual Maintenance Contract covering ongoing site upkeep, security monitoring, performance checks, and any technical issues that arise. The client has a single point of contact for all technical matters.
